FAQ
Are there any prerequisites for this training?
To get the most out of this training, we recommend having some experience of Restorative Yoga. If you haven't, don't worry! Speak to Anya and she will recommend some online content for you to complete before the training commences.
Do I need to be an 'advanced' teacher and practitioner to take this training?
Not at all. 'Advanced' teacher for us, is less about poses and more about your knowledge and ability to hold space for your students to connect with themselves on a deeper level. Whatever practitioner you are, you will find that the integration of our RESTORATIVE YOGA will catapult your teaching and practice to the next level.
Is there an assessment?
You are gently assessed over the days with group, partner work and teaching practice. On the last session on zoom you will teach a small group a mini class to show some of your new skills off!
What equipment do I need for this training?
You'll need a human body :-) a yoga mat, notebook and pen, water bottle, snacks, a good sense of humour and an open mind! You might like to bring other props but the studio is fully equipped.
What should I wear?
Normal yoga clothing is good, with layers for varying temperatures.
Can I still take this training if I am pregnant?
Yes you can, but please speak to Anya to discuss this in more detail.
Can I still take this training if I have an injury?
Depending on the severity of your injury, it's usually possible to mindfully work around any injuries, chat to Anya to make sure.
